Ivemend -Fosaprepitant uses, dose and side effects
IVEMEND contains the active substance fosaprepitant which is converted to aprepitant in your body and belongs to a group of medicines called “neurokinin 1 (NK 1 ) receptor antagonists”. There is a special area in the brain that controls nausea and vomiting. IVEMEND works by blocking signals to that area, thus reducing nausea and vomiting.
