What Therimin Forest Berry is and what it is used for

Therimin Forest Berry is a powder that is taken as a hot drink and is supplied in sachets. It contains paracetamol, which relieves pain and reduces fever.

Therimin Forest Berry is used for the treatment of temporary fever and pain conditions of a mild nature, e.g. fever during a cold, headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle, and joint pain.

This medicine is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. It can be used by people with sensitive stomachs.

You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days in the case of fever or 5 days in the case of pain.

What you need to know before using Therimin Forest Berries

Do not use Therimin Forest berries

Do not use Therimin Skogsbär if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredient in this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and precautions

Be especially careful with Therimin Forest berries if you

– have problems with the kidneys

– have Gilbert’s syndrome (inherited mild jaundice)

– have a deficiency of glucose -6-phosphate dehydrogenase (an enzyme )

If you use other painkillers that contain paracetamol, you should not use Therimin Skogsbär without first talking to your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings and precautions

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose stated in section 3. A higher dose than recommended does not provide better pain relief but instead carries the risk of very serious liver damage. The symptoms of liver damage normally only appear after a couple of days. Therefore, you must contact a doctor as soon as possible if you have taken too large a dose.

Do not use other paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time as there is a risk that the maximum daily dose of paracetamol will be exceeded. Check the content of other medicines before using them at the same time as Therimin Forest Berry.

Do not drink alcohol while using this medicine.

Do not use this medicine without a doctor’s prescription if you have alcohol problems or liver damage, and also do not use Therimin Forest Berries together with alcohol. The intoxicating effect of alcohol is not increased by adding Therimin Forest Berries, but alcohol can instead increase the toxic effect that paracetamol has on your liver.
