What is Microcid And What It Is Used For

  • Microcid cream contains hydrogen peroxide, which is bactericidal.
  • Cream is used in smallpox (impetigo), a bacterial skin infection.
  • You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3-4 weeks.

What You Need To Know Before Using Microcid

Do Not Use Cream

If you are allergic to hydrogen peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings And Cautions

Avoid contact with eyes!

Microcid 1 cream contains propylene glycol which may cause skin irritation.

Other Drugs And Microcid

Avoid concomitant treatment with products containing iodine or potassium permanganate.

Pregnancy And Breastfeeding

No known risks when used during pregnancy.

Cream one can be used during breastfeeding, but should not be applied to the nipples immediately the following breastfeeding.

Driving And Using Machines

No known effect on the ability to drive or use machines.

Microcide Contains Propylene Glycol

Propylene glycol may cause skin irritation.

How To Use Cream

Microcid uses

  • Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
  • A thin layer of Microcid cream is applied to the infected skin area. The cream one is applied 2-3 times daily, or as needed. The treatment time should not exceed 3-4 weeks. Other treatment according to the doctor’s prescription. Cream one can be easily washed off with water only.

Possible Microcid Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Cream one can cause transient burning (occurs in more than 1 in 100 users).

How To Store Cream

  • Do not store above 25 ° C.
  • Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
