1. What ACO Acnegel is and what it is used for

ACO Acnegel is used to prevent and treat mild to moderate acne.

2. What you need to know before using ACO Acnegel

Do not use ACO Acnegel

– if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and cautions

Contact a doctor in case of deep inflamed changes as these can cause scars.

If the skin becomes irritated, the treatment should be stopped.

Other medicines and ACO Acnegel

The effect of concomitant use of other drugs has not been studied.

When contacting a physician or other healthcare professional, remember to mention that you are using or have recently used ACO Acnegel.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy, the treated skin area should not be larger than the face.

Can be used during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines

ACO Acnegel does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

ACO Acnegel contains propylene glycol

Propylene glycol may cause skin irritation.

3. How to use ACO Acnegel

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

Cleanse the skin and then apply the gel in a thin layer on pimples (acne) and areas of skin that are easily affected by acne. Used 1-3 times daily for at least 2 weeks, but usually several months. The use can be limited to once a day if the skin becomes annoyingly dry.

If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Gel one can cause transient burning.

Rare (affects less than 1 user in 1,000): Skin irritation.

5. How to store ACO Acnegel

Do not store above 25 ° C.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the tube after the expiry date. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Content declaration

– The active substance is salicylic acid. 1 g of gel contains 20 mg of salicylic acid.

– The other ingredients (excipients) are ethanol, glycerol, propylene glycol, hypromellose, and purified water.

Gel one is colorless to pale pink/violet and transparent to slightly opalescent with a characteristic odor of ethanol.

A plastic tube of 30 ml with a snap cap containing 30 g gel.
