Inotyol Ointment/Zinc Oxide/Titanium Dioxide Ointment
1. What Inotyol Is And What Is Inotyol Cream Used For
Inotyol is an oily ointment that has a softening and protective effect and that relieves burning and itching from skin irritation.
It is used to treat non-infected skin conditions e.g.
Abrasions and abrasions
- Self-cracks
- Redness/irritation
- In child care (“red tails”)
Inotyol cream is also used to treat certain eczema and burns.
Please note that your doctor may have prescribed cream for different use and/or with a different dosage than indicated in the package leaflet. Always follow your doctor’s prescription and the instructions on the label of the medicine pack.
2. Before You Use Inotyol Ointment
Do Not Use
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ichthammol, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, or any of the other ingredients of cream.
- To exuding and infected wounds.
Pregnancy And Breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Inotyol cream can be used during pregnancy. It can be used during breastfeeding, but not on the nipples.
Driving And Using Machines
It does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
Important Information About Some Of The Inotyol Cream Ingredients
Inotyol ointment contains wool grease, which can cause a local skin reaction (eg contact dermatitis). This medicine contains fragrances containing d-limonene and linalool. D-limonene and linalool can cause allergic reactions.
3. How To Use
Inotyol cream uses
Clean and air dry before applying the ointment. Apply one to several times daily. Can be covered with a compress and gauze to prevent the clothes from staining. Other use as directed by a physician. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
4. Possible Side Effects
Like all medicines, cream can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects have been reported spontaneously since the product was launched, but the frequency cannot be calculated from the available data:
Skin rash due to hypersensitivity e.g. contact dermatitis.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. How To Store
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
- No special storage instructions.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP date. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.
- The medicine should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
