1. What Airapy is and what it is used for
Airapy contains air that is used for inhalation.
Airapy replaces ordinary air when particle-free air is needed, eg:
- As part of the fresh gas flow during respiratory treatment and/or in connection with anesthesia
- As a propellant when inhaling medicines (nebulizer treatment)
- As clean air when caring for infection-sensitive patients such as in organ/cell transplantation or widespread burns

3. How to use Airapy
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. Medical air can be used by children, adults, and the elderly.
Airapy is used for inhalation.
You usually breathe Airapy through a nasal mask or mask. Either you breathe yourself – you “spontaneously breathe” or you get help to breathe from a respirator or ventilator. Airapy can also be used in connection with inhalation of drugs (nebulization).
Airapy can be mixed with medical oxygen (oxygen) when a higher concentration of oxygen is needed.
If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.
Safety instructions
- Airapy is for medical use only.
- Connected only to connection intended for medical air.
- Smoking and open flames must not occur in rooms where medical air is used.
- Keep the bottle clean and dry and free of oil and grease.
- Switch off the equipment when not in use.
- In the event of a fire, switch off the equipment.
- The pressure regulator must be opened slowly and carefully.

There are no side effects associated with the use of Airapy.

5. How to store Airapy
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle label.
Keep the bottle in a place reserved for medical gases.
Handle with Care. Make sure that the bottle is not exposed to shocks and falls.
Store and transport with a closed valve and fitted valve cover/cover where such occurs.

Airapy is a colorless and odorless gas.
The shoulder of the gas bottle is marked in black and white (air). The body of the gas bottle is white (medical gas).
In Finland, the body of the glass bottle can also be turquoise.
Gas cylinders/packages filled to 200 bar give approximately X liters of gas at atmospheric pressure and 15 ° C according to the table below:
