Desolett 28 – Desogestrel – Ethinyl Estradiol uses, dose and side effects
Composition and type of birth control pills. Desolett 28 is a combined contraceptive pill. Each large tablet contains a small amount of two different female hormones. These are desogestrel (yellow body hormone) and Ethinyl estradiol ( estrogen ). The small tablets do not contain any hormones at all and are called placebo tablets. Because Desolett 28 contains small amounts of hormones, it is called a low-dose birth control pill. Because all active tablets contain the same amount of hormone, it is also called a monophasic contraceptive pill.
