Xerodental – Malic acid/fluoride uses, dose and side effects

}

28.6 mg / 0.25 mg lozenges malic acid / fluoride

What Xerodent is and what it is used for

Xerodent contains malic acid. The sour taste stimulates the salivary reflex, which increases saliva production. The tablets contain sodium fluoride, which makes the tooth enamel more resistant to caries attacks (cavities in the teeth). The tablets have xylitol as a sweetener, which also protects the teeth against caries.

Xerodent is used for problems caused by reduced saliva secretion and for the prevention of caries in adult patients with dry mouth.
