SelokenZOC 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg Metoprolol Succinate Prolonged Release Tablets
What Is SelokenZOC, And What Is Selokenzoc Used For?
Metoprolol reduces the effects of stress hormones on the heart during physical and mental exertion. This causes the heart to beat more slowly ( heart rate decreases) in these situations. SelokenZOC tab is used to treat the following conditions in adults:
- High blood pressure and to prevent angina pectoris ( angina pectoris )
- Heart failure
- Some palpitations
- Certain types of irregular heartbeat (Arrhythmia)
In patients with a heart attack, SelokenZOC reduces the risk of death and the onset of a new heart attack. In men with moderate to severe hypertension, SelokenZOC has been shown to reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease.
The reduced heart rate also counteracts the onset of angina. Selokenzoc tab can also be given as a preventive treatment for migraines. SelokenZOC treats high blood pressure in children and adolescents aged 6-18.
