What Reparil N is and what it is used for

April N is a gel for topical use to relieve temporary pain and swelling associated with injuries such as sprains, sprains, and bruises.

If the symptoms persist for more than 4-5 days, consult a doctor.

What you need to know before using Reparil N

Do not use Reparil N

  • if you are allergic to escin, diethylamine salicylate, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
  • on damaged skin, mucous membranes, or areas of skin that are exposed to radiation.
  • if you are hypersensitive to salicylates

Warnings and cautions

Avoid getting Reparil N in your eyes. If you get Reparil N in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Other medicines and Reparil N

The effect of concomitant use of other topical drugs has not been studied.

When contacting a doctor or other healthcare professional, remember to mention that you are using or have recently used Reparil N.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, you should not use Reparil N on large areas of the skin for a long time.

Breast-feeding

If you are breastfeeding, do not lubricate your breasts with Reparil N.

Driving and using machines

Reparil N has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive and use machines.

You are responsible for assessing whether you are fit to drive a motor vehicle or perform work that requires sharpened attention. One of the factors that can affect your ability in these respects is the use of drugs due to their effects and/or side effects. Descriptions of these effects and side effects can be found in other sections. Read all the information in this leaflet for guidance. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Reparil N contains fragrances

This medicine contains fragrances containing limonene, farnesol, and linalool. Lemon, farnesol, and linalool can cause allergic reactions.

How to use Reparil N

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:

Apply a thin layer of Reparil N gel to the skin at the affected area once or twice daily depending on the severity of the problem. Repeat the treatment for 4-5 days. You can rub the gel into your skin, but it is not necessary.

If the pain or swelling persists after 4-5 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Use for children and adolescents

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

If you use more Reparil N than you should

If you have ingested too much medicine or if e.g. a child ingested the medicine by mistake, contact a doctor or hospital for risk assessment and advice.

If you forget to use Reparil N

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Allergic skin reactions have been reported.

How to store Reparil N

Do not store above 25 ° C.

The opened aluminum tube is durable for 6 months.

The opened laminate tube is durable for 12 months.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and label after EXP. day. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment

Content declaration

  • The active substances are escin and diethylamine salicylate.
    1 g contains 10 mg of escin and 50 mg of diethylamine salicylate.
  • The other ingredients are carbomer, macrogol-6- glycerol -caprylocaprate, disodium edetate dihydrate, trometamol, isopropyl alcohol, and lavender oil (contains limonene and linalool), neroli oil (contains limonene, farnesol, and linalool), purified water.

What the medicine looks like and the contents of the pack

Aluminum tube or laminate tube, pack sizes 40 g and 100 g.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
