What Pascoflair is and what it is used for

Pascoflair is a traditional herbal medicine used for mild anxiety and temporary insomnia.

The indications for traditional herbal medicine are based solely on the experience of long-term use.

What you need to know before using Pascoflair

Do not use Pascoflair

  • if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to passion flower or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Children and young people

Pascoflair is not recommended for use in children below 12 years due to insufficient data.

Other medicines and Pascoflair

The effect of concomitant use of other drugs has not been studied. Nevertheless, concomitant use of synthetic sleeping or sedatives such as e.g. benzodiazepines, unless concomitant use has been prescribed by a physician.

In case of contact with a doctor or other healthcare professional, remember to tell them that you are taking or have recently taken this over-the-counter medicine.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility

In the absence of adequate data, Pascoflair should not be used by pregnant or lactating women.

The potential effect of the drug on fertility has not been studied.

Driving and using machines

Pascoflair may impair the ability to drive and use machines. Therefore, if you feel affected, do not drive, use any tools or machines.

You are responsible for assessing whether you are fit to drive a motor vehicle or perform work that requires sharpened attention. One of the factors that can affect your ability in these respects is the use of drugs due to their effects and/or side effects. Descriptions of these effects and side effects can be found in other sections. Read all the information in this leaflet for guidance. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pascoflair contains glucose and sucrose

If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

How to use Pascoflair

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or other healthcare professional.

Adults, the elderly, and adolescents over 12 years of age:

In case of mild anxiety: 2 – 3 tablets daily, evenly distributed throughout the day.

In case of difficulty sleeping: 1-2 tablets half an hour before bedtime.

The maximum dose per day is 3 tablets.

The tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid.

Contact a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 2 weeks of treatment.

Use for children and adolescents

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

If you use more Pascoflair than you should 

If you have ingested too much medicine or if e.g. If a child has ingested the medicine by mistake, contact a doctor or hospital for risk assessment and advice.

If you forget to use Pascoflair

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Isolated cases of nausea have been reported. The frequency is not known.f

How to store Pascoflair

Do not store above 30 ° C.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP and on the blister after EXP. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Content declaration

  • The active substance in 1 coated tablet is:425 mg extract of Passiflora incarnata L., (passionflower), an herb corresponding to about 2-3 g dried herb of passionflower.
  • Other ingredients are sucrose, maltodextrin, talc, calcium carbonate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, cellulose powder, stearic acid, hypromellose, acacia gum, magnesium stearate, liquid spray-dried glucose, tragacanth, shellac, white wax, carnauba wax (E172 oxide).

What the medicine looks like and the contents of the pack

Light yellow, round, coated tablets in blisters (PVC / PVDC-aluminum).

Packs of 30, 60, or 90 coated tablets.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
