What Is Panodil Brus, And What Is Panodil Brus Used For?
Panodil Brus contains paracetamol which is analgesic and antipyretic. Panodil Brus is used to treat temporary fever and pain conditions of a mild nature, such as fever in colds, headaches, toothaches, menstrual pains, and muscle and joint pain.
Panodil Brus can be used by people with sensitive stomachs or stomach ulcers and an increased tendency to bleed. You must talk to a doctor if the symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days in case of fever and 5 days in case of pain.
Do not use Panodil Brus for children under 12 for more than 2 days unless your doctor prescribes otherwise.
What Do You Need To Know Before Using Panodil Noise?
Do Not Use Panodil Noise
- If you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings And Cautions
Take special care with Panodil Brus:
- Caution in case of heart or kidney failure or liver disease
- If you have asthma and are at the same time sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid
Contact a doctor before using Panodil Brus Paracetamol if:
- The child is difficult to carry or has abdominal pain, stiff neck, or back pain.
- The child has severe problems with the ears, throat, or trachea.
If the child has a fever, contact a doctor if:
- The child has not drunk any fluid or lost significantly due to persistent vomiting or diarrhea.
- The treatment did not affect the pain or fever after the first day.
- New symptoms appear, or stomach pain/upset worsens or lasts long.
Do not use Panodil Brus without a doctor’s prescription if you have alcohol problems or liver damage, and do not use Panodil Brus with alcohol.
The intoxicating effect of alcohol does not increase with the addition of Panodil Brus. If you take other painkillers containing paracetamol, do not use Panodil Brus without talking to your doctor or pharmacist first.
Never take Panodil Brus more than what is stated in the dosing instructions or what your doctor has prescribed. Higher doses than recommended do not provide better pain relief but entail a risk of severe liver damage.
The symptoms of liver damage usually come only after a few days. Therefore, you must contact a doctor immediately if you have taken too large a dose.
Talk to your doctor if you have impaired heart or kidney function, liver disease, or high blood pressure. Talk to your doctor before using Panodil Noise if you have a severe infection, such as sepsis, as this may increase the risk of metabolic acidosis.
Signs of metabolic acidosis include:
- Deep, rapid, strained breathing
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Loss of appetite
Contact a doctor immediately if you get a combination of these symptoms.
Other Medicines And Panodil Brus:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription, (traditional) herbal, herbal, or other natural products. Panodil Brus can affect or be affected by certain medicines / herbal medicines:
- Metoclopramide (anti-nausea and antiemetics)
- Warfarin (blood thinner)
Contact your treating physician if you take more than 2 effervescent tablets of Panodil Soda (500 mg) daily for 5 consecutive days. There is a risk that the effect of warfarin will be affected.
- Probenecid (remedy for gout )
- Certain antiepileptic drugs: phenytoin, phenobarbital, carbamazepine
Rifampicin (remedy for tuberculosis ).
- Cholestyramine (agent for high blood fats). The medication should be taken at least one hour apart.
- Chloramphenicol for injection (means for bacterial infections). (However, chloramphenicol against infection in your eye and Panodil Brus Paracetamol can be used simultaneously.)
- St. John’s wort extract (included in some (traditional) herbal and herbal medicines).
- Never use several different painkillers simultaneously without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, And Fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or plan to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
If necessary, Panodil Brus can be used during pregnancy. However, you should use the lowest possible dose that relieves your pain and fever and use the medicine for the shortest possible time. Panodil Brus Contains Excipients:

- Sodium , 427 mg per effervescent tablet. This corresponds to 21% of adults recommended daily sodium intake. Patients should consider this on a low-salt diet and people with high blood pressure.
- Sorbitol (E 420), 50 mg per effervescent tablet . Sorbitol is a source of fructose. If you (or your child) do not tolerate certain sugars, or if you (or your child) have been diagnosed with hereditary fructose intolerance, a rare, inherited disease that prevents fructose from being broken down, consult a doctor before using this medicine.
How To Use Panodil Noise?
Note! Higher doses than those recommended carry a risk of severe liver damage.
- Always use Panodil Brus precisely as your doctor has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
- The recommended dose is:
- Adults and children over 40 kg (over 12 years): 1-2 effervescent tablets every 4-6 hours, a maximum of 8 effervescent tablets daily.
- Panodil Brus should not be used for long-term use other than as a doctor prescribes. Contact a doctor if the symptoms worsen or do not improve within 3 days in case of fever and 5 days in case of pain.
Children
- For children, a dose should be given based on the child’s weight (age indication is approximate):
- Children 15-25 kg (3-7 years): ½ effervescent tablet every 4-6 hours, a maximum of 4 times per day, a maximum of 2 effervescent tablets per day.
- Children 25-40 kg (7-12 years): ½ -1 effervescent tablet every 4-6 hours, a maximum of 4 times per day, a maximum of 4 effervescent tablets per day.
- Do not use Panodil Brus for children under 12 for more than 2 days unless your doctor prescribes otherwise.
- Effervescent tablets can be divided into two equal doses.
- Effervescent tablet one is dissolved in a glass of water. When dissolved in water, Panodil Brus provides a clear solution with a neutral taste.
If You Use More Panodil Brus Than You Should:
- If you have ingested too much medicine or if, e.g., a child has inadvertently ingested a medicine, contact a doctor or hospital for risk assessment and advice.
- There is a risk of liver damage even if you feel well.
- To prevent possible liver damage, the antidote must be inserted by a doctor as early as possible (preferably within 10-12 hours after ingestion).

- Difficulty swallowing
- Hives and difficulty breathing
- Allergic reactions such as skin rash and hives. If you get allergic reactions, you should stop taking Panodil Brus. Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Liver effects
Very rare Panodil brus side effects(affects less than 1 user in 10,000):
- Bleeding from the skin and mucous membranes and bruising, general lethargy, the tendency to inflammation ( infections ), especially sore throat and fever due to changes in the blood (decreased number of white blood cells and platelets ). Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Severe difficulty breathing with wheezing. Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Kidney side effects.
- Paleness, fatigue, and jaundice due to severe anemia. Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Rare cases of severe skin reactions have been reported. Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Anaphylaxis: hypersensitivity reaction with fever, rash, swelling, and sometimes a drop in blood pressure. Contact a doctor as soon as possible.
