1. What Ecovag Is And What It Is Used For
Traditionally used for imbalance in the vagina’s natural bacterial flora. The condition manifests as mild itching, burning, dryness or odor, and slightly increased discharge from the vagina.

Do Not Use Ecovag
- If you are allergic to Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus rhamnose,s or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings And Cautions
- Before starting treatment, you should have consulted a doctor to rule out the presence of any underlying infection or tumor.
- In case of severe itching or pain or if the symptoms have not ceased after 6 days of treatment with Ecovag capsules, a doctor should be consulted as this may be a sign of illness that requires other treatment. Physicians should also be consulted for mixed or postmenopausal discharge.
- A suspected sexually transmitted infection should be examined by a doctor.
- In case of recurrent complaints, contact with a doctor is recommended.
Children And Young People
- Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Other Medicines And Ecovag
The effect of concomitant use of other drugs has not been studied.
When contacting a physician or other healthcare professional, remember to mention that you are using or have recently used this over-the-counter medicine.
Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, And Fertility
The potential effect of the drug on fertility has not been studied.
- Use during pregnancy is not recommended.
- Ecovag can be used during breastfeeding.
Driving And Using Machines
Ecovag capsules have no or negligible effect on the ability to drive and use machines.
3. Ecovag Capsule How To Use
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor advised. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
For vaginal use only.
The recommended dose is:
Adults, the elderly, and adolescents over 12 years of age:
1 vaginal capsule at bedtime for 6-8 days. The vaginal capsule is applied deep into the vagina. Wash your hands thoroughly before inserting the vaginal capsule into the vagina.
Contact a doctor if the symptoms worsen or if the symptoms do not go away within 6 days.
Use For Children And Adolescents
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
If You Use More Ecovag capsules Then You Should
If you have ingested too much of the medicine or if, for example, a child has accidentally ingested the medicine, contact a doctor, hospital, or the Poison Information Center for risk assessment and advice.
If You Forget To Use Ecovag
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you forget to take Ecovag capsules, take them as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
If you have any further questions about the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Ecovag Capsules Side Effects
Like all medicines, Ecovag capsules can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
There are no known side effects of using Ecovag.
5. How To Store It
- Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
- Do not store above 25 ° C.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottom of the aluminum tube after “EXP”. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.
- Do not use Ecovag capsules if there are visible signs on the package that it has been opened before you start using it.
- Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

- The active substances in 1 vaginal capsule are: Lactobacillus gasseri minimum 10 8 CFU freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus minimum 10 8 CFU freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria
- Other ingredients are Lactitol monohydrate, corn starch, gelatin, xanthan gum, glucose (anhydrous), magnesium stearate, and titanium dioxide (E 171).

Vaginal capsules are hard. White gelatin capsule.
