1. WHAT CARBOMIX IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
What is Carbomix used for?
Carbomix is used to treat poisoning and to supplement the diet in case of temporary diarrhea. Medical carbon effectively binds a large number of toxins and can thereby prevent harmful substances such as drugs, chemical substances, and bacterial toxins from being absorbed into the body.
2. BEFORE YOU USE CARBOMIX
Do not use Carbomix
Carbomix should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients.
Take special care with Carbomix:
In case of poisoning with corrosive substances, Carbomix should not be used, consult your doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Driving and using machines
No effect.
Use of other medicines:
Medical coals can reduce the effect of certain drugs when taken concomitantly. Carbomix and other medicines should therefore be taken at least 2 hours apart.
3. HOW TO USE CARBOMIX
Dosage instructions
Always use Carbomix exactly as your doctor has told you or on the label of the medicine pack. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Poisoning: The carbon mixture should be given as soon as possible. The following practical guidelines may apply to the first treatment at home and in the hospital.
Adults and children over 12 years: about 150 ml (equivalent to ½ bottle of 50 g or 1 bottle of 25 g Carbomix).
Children up to 12 years: about 60 ml (equivalent to 1/5 bottle of 50 g or 2/5 bottle of 25 g Carbomix).
Diarrhea: Adults and children: 15-30 ml (1-2 tablespoons) one to several times daily.
Administration
Instructions for use
The bottle is filled with water approximately to the red field in the upper edge of the label, approximately 150 ml and 300 ml respectively, the cap is closed and the bottle is shaken well for about one minute after which mixture one is ready to use. Carefully open the bottle and use e.g. a paper napkin for protection, so that the clothes do not get stained.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Carbomix can have side effects.
Uncommon side effects (affects less than 1 user in 100) are: constipation

5. STORAGE OF CARBOMIX
Keep out of reach of children.
Used before the expiry date which is stated on the carton. After adding water, the mixture is stable for 1 week when stored in a refrigerator (2 ° C – 8 ° C).
For environmental and safety reasons, leftover or too old medicine from the public must be left at the pharmacy for disposal.
