bendroflumethiazide

What Salures are and what they are used for

Salures contain the active substance bendroflumethiazide, which belongs to the group of thiazide diuretics (diuretics). Salures are used to treat high blood pressure, and swelling ( edema ) and as a preventive treatment for kidney stones.

Salure’s blood pressure-lowering effect is probably due to certain small blood vessels dilating. The diuretic effect is due to the influence of the kidney which causes fluid to leave the body. Salures in some cases prevents the formation of kidney stones by reducing the calcium content in the urine.

Bendroflumethiazide contained in Salures may also be approved for the treatment of other conditions not mentioned in this product information. Ask your doctor, pharmacist, or another healthcare professional if you have any further questions, and always follow their instructions.
