Lestid – Colestipol hydrochloride uses, dose and side effects

}

1 g tablets
colestipol hydrochloride

What Reading Time is and what it is used for

Reading time is used in the treatment of elevated blood fats ( cholesterol ).

Reading time binds bile acids in the intestine so that they are excreted in the feces instead of being absorbed into the blood. The liver then forms new bile acids from the body’s excess cholesterol and in this way lowers the cholesterol level in the blood.

Reading time lowers blood cholesterol levels without being absorbed by the body.
