1. What Imogaze Is And What It Is Used For
Imogaze works by dissolving the gas in the gastrointestinal tract that causes
- Bloating
- Swelling
Imogaze uses in adults and adolescents from the age of 15 to treat symptoms of gas in the gastrointestinal tract ( flatulence ) that makes your stomach feel bloated.
2. What You Need To Know Before Taking Imogaze
Do Not Use Imogaze Simetikon
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to simethicone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings And Cautions
You should consult your doctor about:
- Your gas tanks do not lighten after 10 days of treatment
- You have constipation that does not want to go away / get better
Pregnancy And Breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
This medicine can be used during pregnancy and lactation because the uptake of simethicone into the body (systemic exposure) is negligible.
Driving And Using Machines
Imogaze simetikon has no known effect on the ability to drive or use machines.
3. How To Take Imogaze
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The recommended dose is:
If you are 15 years or older: One capsule after each main meal. Swallow the capsule with a large glass of water. Do not take more than 3 capsules a day. Do not take the capsules for more than 10 consecutive days.
You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse within 10 days.
Use For Children And Adolescents Under 15 Years
Do not give this medicine to children under 15 years of age.
If You Take More Imogaze Than You Should
If you have ingested too much medicine or if e.g. a child ingested the medicine by mistake, contact a doctor, hospital, or the Poison Information Center for risk assessment and advice.
If You Forget To Take Imogaze
Take one capsule after the next main meal. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten capsule.
4. Possible Imogaze Side Effects
Like all medicines, Imogaze can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Stop taking it and contact a doctor immediately if you get any of the following symptoms ( angioedema ):
- Swelling of the face, tongue, or throat
- Difficulty swallowing
- Hives
- Difficulty breathing
The following Imogaze side effects have been reported (affects an unknown number of users):
- Stomach pain
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Constipation
- Allergic reactions such as
- Rash
- Itching
- Angioedema
- Swelling of the face, lips, throat and tongue or difficulty breathing.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse. This also applies to any side effects not mentioned in this information. You can also report side effects directly to the Medical Products Agency. By reporting side effects, you can help increase drug safety information.
5. How To Store Imogaze
- Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after “Exp. dat./EXP: “The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.
- No special storage instructions.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Content declaration
- The active substance is simethicone. Each capsule contains 240 mg of simethicone.
- The other ingredients are gelatin and glycerol .
