Irbesartan STADA – Irbesartan uses, dose and side effects

Irbesartan Stada belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin -II receptor antagonists. Angiotensin -II is a substance, which is produced in the body, and which binds to certain structures ( receptors ) in the blood vessels and causes them to constrict. This leads to increased blood pressure. Irbesartan Stada prevents the binding of angiotensin -II to these receptors, which causes the blood vessels to relax and the blood pressure to drop. Irbesartan Stada delays the deterioration of renal function in patients with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.
