1. What Hypermin, tablets are and what they are used for

Traditional herbal medicine is used for mild depression and mild anxiety.

The indications for traditional herbal medicine are based solely on experience with long-term use.

2. What you need to know before using Hypermin tablets

Do not use Hypermin tablets

– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to St. John’s wort or any of the other ingredients of Hypermin.

Warnings and cautions

– Not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years.

Intense UV radiation should be avoided while using the product.

Other medicines and Hypermin, tablets

Do not use Hypermin if you are taking other medicines, as the effect of other medicines may decrease or disappear.

When contacting a doctor or other healthcare professional, remember to tell them that you are taking or have recently taken this over-the-counter medicine.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

In the absence of adequate data, Hypermin should not be used by pregnant or lactating women.

The possible effect of the drug on fertility has not been studied.

Driving and using machines

3. How to use Hypermin, tablets

Adults and elderly: 1 tablet 3 times daily.

Not recommended for children under 18 years.

If symptoms persist or worsen after 2 weeks of treatment, a physician should be consulted.

If you use more Hypermin than you should 

If you have taken too much Hypermin or if, for example, a child has accidentally ingested the medicine, contact a doctor, hospital, or the Poison Information Center on telephone number for risk assessment and advice.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, Hypermin can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Gastrointestinal disorders, allergic skin reactions, fatigue, and restlessness have been reported.

Light-skinned people may react with severe sun damage-like symptoms in bright sunlight.

5. How to store Hypermin tablets

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. The measures are to protect the environment.

– The active substance per tablet is 66 mg of Hypericum perforatum L. extract ( St. John’s wort ), corresponding to about 0.425-1.3 g of fresh St. John’s wort.

– The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, silica, croscarmellose sodium, and glycerol distearate.

What the medicine looks like and contents of the pack

Brown-green, oval, biconvex, beveled tablet (approx. 15 x 8 mm) with a strong aromatic odor and slightly bitter taste.

60 and 120 tablets in a brown glass jar with an aluminum screw cap.
