1. WHAT THE DORMEASAN IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Dormeasan is a traditional herbal medicine used for temporary insomnia and mild anxiety.

The indications for traditional herbal medicine are based solely on the experience of long-term use.

2. BEFORE YOU USE DORMEASAN

Do not use Dormeasan

– if you are allergic to turnip or hops.

Children and young people

Dormeasan is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, as experience is limited.

Other medicines and Dormeasan

Pregnancy, breast-feeding, and fertility In the absence of adequate data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended. The potential effect of the drug on fertility has not been studied.

Dormeasan contains ethanol (alcohol)

This medicine contains 62 vol% ethanol (alcohol), ie up to 0.5 g per ml, equivalent to 1.2 cl strong beer, or 0.5 cl wine per ml Dormeasan. Harmful to people suffering from alcoholism. Attention should be paid to pregnant or lactating women, children, and high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.

3. HOW TO USE DORMEASAN

Always use Dormeasan according to the instructions in the package leaflet. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or other healthcare professional.

Dosage instructions

Adults, the elderly, and adolescents over 12 years of age:

In case of anxiety: 1 ml (about 35 drops) in a glass of water 3-5 times daily.

For falling asleep: 2 ml (about 70 drops) in a glass of water.

Contact a doctor or other healthcare professional if symptoms persist after 4 weeks of treatment or if symptoms worsen during the use of Dormeasan.

Use for children

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Dormeasan can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Gastrointestinal symptoms (eg nausea, abdominal cramps) have been reported after ingestion of taproot products. The frequency is not known.

5. HOW TO STORE DORMEASAN

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25 ° C. Opened packaging lasts 5 months.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle and the outer carton after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

1 ml solution contains:

– 460 mg liquid extract of Valeriana officinalis L. (turnip root) root, corresponding to 160-270 mg fresh root from turnip root. Extractant: ethanol about 85% (v / v).

– 460 mg liquid extract of Humulus lupulus L. (hop) cone, corresponding to 145-220 mg fresh cone from hops. Extractant: ethanol about 88% (v / v).

Dormeasan oral drops, the solution contains 62% (v / v) ethanol, which corresponds to 0.5 g of alcohol per ml.

1 ml corresponds to about 35 drops.
