1. What ACO Acne Solution is and what it is used for

ACO Acne Solution is used for cleansing and bathing oily skin areas to prevent and treat mild to moderate acne.

2. What you need to know before using ACO Acne Solution

Do not use ACO Acne Solution

– if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

Warnings and cautions

Contact a doctor in case of deep inflamed changes as these can cause scars.

If the skin becomes irritated, the treatment should be stopped.

Other medicines and ACO Acne solution

The effect of concomitant use of other drugs has not been studied.

When contacting a physician or other healthcare professional, remember to mention that you are using or have recently used ACO Acne Solution.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy, the treated skin area should not be larger than the face.

Can be used during breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines

ACO Acne solution does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

3. How to use ACO Acne Solution

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor, pharmacist or nurse has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

Dab the solution on pre-existing acne and on skin areas that are easily affected by acne. Used 1-3 times daily for at least 2 weeks, but usually several months. The use can be reduced to once a day or once every other day if the skin becomes annoyingly dry and scaly.

If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The solution may cause temporary burning.

Rare (affects less than 1 user in 1,000): Skin irritation.

5. How to store ACO Acne Solution

Do not store above 25 ° C.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP. The expiration date is the last day of the specified month.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Content declaration

– The active substance is salicylic acid. 1 g of cutaneous solution contains 20 mg of salicylic acid.

The other ingredients (excipients) are ethanol (96 v / v%), glycerol, and purified water. Denaturant: Tertiary butyl alcohol and denatonium benzoate.

Clear, colorless to pale pink/violet solution, with a characteristic scent of ethanol.
