What Dectova is and what it is used for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dectova contains zanamivir, which belongs to a group of medicines called antivirals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dectova&nbsp;<strong>is used to treat severe&nbsp;flu<\/strong>&nbsp;(&nbsp;<strong>flu virus<\/strong>&nbsp;infection&nbsp;).&nbsp;It is used when other treatments for&nbsp;influenza are&nbsp;not suitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adults and children from 6 months of age can be treated with Dectova.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
