How to use AZOPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.&nbsp;Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AZOPT should only be used in the eyes.&nbsp;It must not be swallowed or injected.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The recommended&nbsp;dose&nbsp;is<\/strong>&nbsp;1 drop in the affected eye or eyes twice daily &#8211; morning and evening unless your doctor prescribes otherwise.&nbsp;Use AZOPT in both eyes only if your doctor tells you to.&nbsp;Use the medicine for as long as your doctor prescribes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions for use<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fass.se\/LIF\/product?userType=2&amp;nplId=20000309000033#\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fass.se\/imaging\/resources\/513484aa-e964-4bd5-a85e-a96ad6478be2\" alt=\"Administration\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Get the AZOPT bottle and a mirror.<\/li><li>Wash your hands.<\/li><li>Shake the bottle and unscrew the hat.&nbsp;If the safety collar is loose after removing the hat, remove the collar before using the product.<\/li><li>Hold the bottle upside down between your thumb and forefinger.<\/li><li>Tilt your head back.&nbsp;Pull the eyelid down with a clean finger, so that a pocket is formed between the eyelid and the eye.&nbsp;The drop should end up in the pocket (figure 1).<\/li><li>Move the tip of the bottle close to the eye.&nbsp;Use the mirror if it facilitates.<\/li><li>Do not touch the eye or eyelid, surrounding areas, or other surfaces with the bottle tip.&nbsp;This can contaminate the drops.<\/li><li>Gently press the bottom of the bottle with your index finger to release one drop of AZOPT at a time.<\/li><li>Do not squeeze the bottle;&nbsp;it is designed so that a light pressure at the bottom is sufficient (figure 2).<\/li><li>After using AZOPT, press lightly with a finger in the corner of the eye (see figure 3) for at least 1 minute.&nbsp;This prevents AZOPT from entering the rest of the body.<\/li><li>If you drip in both eyes, repeat the procedure in the other eye.<\/li><li>Screw the cap onto the bottle firmly immediately after use.<\/li><li>Use one bottle before opening the next.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If the drop misses the eye, try again.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are using other eye preparations, wait at least 5 minutes between using AZOPT and the other eye preparations.&nbsp;Eye ointments should be used last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you use more AZOPT than you should&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you get too much in your eyes, rinse everything out with lukewarm water.&nbsp;Do not drip in more drops until it is time for your next regular&nbsp;dose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you forget to use AZOPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a drop of the drug as soon as possible and then return to your normal routine.&nbsp;Do not take a double&nbsp;dose&nbsp;to make up for a forgotten&nbsp;dose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you stop using AZOPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you stop using AZOPT without talking to your doctor, the pressure in your eye will not be checked, which could lead to vision loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.
