Acetylsalicylic acid Orifarm is a so-called blood thinner, which reduces the risk of blood clots by preventing platelets from clotting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acetylsalicylic acid Orifarm is used by patients who have severe angina pectoris ( unstable angina pectoris) or who have previously suffered a heart attack or stroke. Acetylsalicylic acid Orifarm helps reduce the risk of recurrence in a new infarction, by preventing clots from forming in the blood vessels of the heart and brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you need to know before you use Acetylsalicylic acid Orifarm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do not use Acetylsalicylic acid Orifarm<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  • if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, other medicines with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect (so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)<\/li>
  • if you have asthma<\/li>
  • if you suffer from stomach ulcers<\/li>
  • if you have hemophilia<\/li>
  • if you are deficient in the platelets that help clot the blood<\/li>
  • if you have cirrhosis of the liver<\/li>
  • if you have severe heart failure.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
