chemicals called\u00a0norepinephrine\u00a0and\u00a0dopamine.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you need to know before using Voxra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do not use Voxra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you are allergic<\/strong>\u00a0to bupropion or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)<\/li><li><strong>if you are using any other medicine containing bupropion<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you have been diagnosed with\u00a0epilepsy\u00a0or have previously had seizures<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you have or have had eating disorders<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g.\u00a0bulimia\u00a0or\u00a0anorexia\u00a0)<\/li><li><strong>if you have a brain tumor<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you have an alcohol addiction that you have recently stopped or plan to stop<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you have severe liver disease<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you have recently stopped using sedative medicines<\/strong>\u00a0or are going to stop using them while you are using Voxra<\/li><li><strong>if you are being above apply to you, talk to your doctor immediately without taking Voxra.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warnings and precautions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Voxra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Children and adolescents<\/strong><br>Voxra is not recommended for the treatment of children under the age of 18.&nbsp;There is an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior when children under the age of 18 are treated with antidepressants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adults<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before you start using Voxra, your doctor needs to know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you regularly drink a lot of alcohol<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>if you have&nbsp;diabetes<\/strong>&nbsp;and are treated with&nbsp;insulin&nbsp;or tablets<\/li><li><strong>if you have or have had a serious head injury<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Voxra has been shown to cause seizures in about 1 in 1,000 people.&nbsp;The risk of this&nbsp;side effect&nbsp;is greater in people in the aforementioned groups.&nbsp;If you have a seizure during treatment, stop taking Voxra and contact your doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you have\u00a0bipolar disorder<\/strong>\u00a0(extreme mood swings), Voxra can trigger an episode of the disorder.<\/li><li><strong>if you take other medicines for depression<\/strong>, these medicines together with Voxra can lead to serotonin syndrome, which is a potentially life-threatening condition (see \u201cOther medicines and Voxra\u201d in this section).<\/li><li>if you have liver or kidney disease, the risk of\u00a0side effects\u00a0is increased.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If any of the above applies to you<\/strong>, talk to your doctor again before you start using Voxra.\u00a0The doctor may need to pay extra attention to your treatment or recommend another treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you start to feel worse and have thoughts of harming yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You who are depressed may sometimes have thoughts of harming yourself or committing suicide.&nbsp;These symptoms may worsen when you start taking anti-depressant drugs because it takes time for drugs of this type to work, usually about 2 weeks, sometimes longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These thoughts may be common:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you have previously had thoughts of harming yourself or committing suicide.<\/li><li>If you are younger than 25 years.&nbsp;Studies have shown that young adults (younger than 25 years) with mental illness who are treated with antidepressants have an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and thoughts of harming themselves.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Contact a doctor or the nearest hospital immediately<\/strong>&nbsp;if you have thoughts of harming yourself or committing suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It may help to tell a relative or close friend<\/strong>&nbsp;that you are depressed.&nbsp;Please ask them to read this leaflet.&nbsp;You can also ask them to tell you if they think you seem to be feeling worse or if they think your behavior is changing.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other medicines and Voxra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are using or have used other antidepressants called&nbsp;monoamine oxidase inhibitors<\/strong>&nbsp;(&nbsp;MAOIs&nbsp;) in the last 14 days,&nbsp;<strong>tell your doctor without taking Voxra<\/strong>&nbsp;(see also Do not use Voxra in section 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used,<\/strong> or may be thinking about using other medicines, natural remedies or\u00a0vitamins,\u00a0or other non-prescription products.\u00a0The doctor may change your\u00a0dosage\u00a0of Voxra or suggest a change to your other medications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some medicines do not mix with Voxra.\u00a0<\/strong>Some of them may increase the risk of seizures while others may increase the risk of other\u00a0side effects.\u00a0Below are some examples of this, but it is not a complete list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The risk of seizures is increased:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you use other medicines for depression or other mental illnesses<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you use theophylline<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0asthma\u00a0or lung disease<\/li><li><strong>if you are using tramadol<\/strong>, a strong painkiller<\/li><li>if you have used sedative medicines, or if you are going to stop using them while you are using Voxra (see also &#8220;Do not use Voxra&#8221; under section 2)<\/li><li>if you are using anti-malarial\u00a0medicines (such as mefloquine or chloroquine)<\/li><li>if you use central stimulating or other appetite and weight-regulating medicines<\/li><li>if you use\u00a0steroids, in tablet form or as an\u00a0injection<\/li><li>if you use\u00a0antibiotics\u00a0that belong to the\u00a0quinolone\u00a0group<\/li><li>if you use certain\u00a0antihistamines\u00a0that can cause drowsiness<\/li><li>if you use medicines for\u00a0diabetes<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If any of these apply to you<\/strong>, talk to your doctor immediately before using Voxra.\u00a0The doctor will assess the benefits against the risks for you of using Voxra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The risk of other&nbsp;side effects&nbsp;is increased:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you are using other medicines for depression<\/strong>\u00a0(such as amitriptyline,\u00a0fluoxetine,\u00a0paroxetine,\u00a0citalopram, escitalopram,\u00a0venlafaxine, dosulepin, desipramine or imipramine) or other mental illnesses (such as clozapine,\u00a0risperidone, thioridazine or olanzapine).\u00a0Voxra can affect or be affected by some medicines used to treat depression, and you may experience changes in mental status (eg agitation, hallucinations,\u00a0coma\u00a0), and other\u00a0side effects\u00a0such as body temperature above 38\u00b0C, increased heart rate, unstable\u00a0blood pressure and overactive reflexes, muscle stiffness, lack of coordination, and\/or gastrointestinal symptoms (eg, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).<\/li><li>if you use medicines for\u00a0Parkinson&#8217;s disease\u00a0(\u00a0levodopa, amantadine, or orphenadrine)<\/li><li>if you use medicines that affect the body&#8217;s breakdown of Voxra\u00a0(carbamazepine,\u00a0phenytoin,\u00a0or\u00a0valproate\u00a0)<\/li><li>if you are using medicines used to treat cancer\u00a0(such as cyclophosphamide, and ifosfamide)<\/li><li><strong>if you are using\u00a0<\/strong><strong>ticlopidine\u00a0<\/strong><strong>or clopidogrel which are mainly used to prevent\u00a0stroke<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>if you use certain\u00a0beta-blockers<\/strong>\u00a0(such as\u00a0metoprolol\u00a0)<\/li><li><strong>if you use medicines against irregular heart rhythm<\/strong>\u00a0(\u00a0propafenone\u00a0or\u00a0flecainide\u00a0)<\/li><li><strong>if you use nicotine patches for smoking cessation.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If any of these apply to you<\/strong>, talk to your doctor immediately before using Voxra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voxra may have less effect:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you are taking ritonavir or efavirenz\u00a0medicine to treat\u00a0HIV\u00a0infection.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If this applies to you,<\/strong>\u00a0tell your doctor.\u00a0Your doctor will check how well Voxra works for you.\u00a0It may be necessary to increase your\u00a0dose\u00a0or switch to a different treatment for your depression.\u00a0<strong>Do not<\/strong>\u00a0increase your\u00a0dose\u00a0of Voxra without asking your doctor as this may lead to an increased risk of\u00a0side effects, including seizures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voxra can reduce the effect of other medicines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>if you are using tamoxifen to treat breast cancer. <\/strong>If this applies to you,\u00a0talk to your doctor.\u00a0It may be necessary to switch to a different treatment for your depression.<\/li><li>if you use\u00a0digoxin\u00a0for the heart. If this applies to you,\u00a0talk to your\u00a0doctor.\u00a0The doctor may consider changing the\u00a0dose\u00a0of\u00a0digoxin.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voxra with alcohol<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alcohol can affect how Voxra works in the body and simultaneous use can in rare cases affect your nerves or your mental health.\u00a0Some people experience increased sensitivity to alcohol when taking Voxra.\u00a0The doctor may advise you not to drink alcohol (beer, wine, or spirits) or try to drink very sparingly while using Voxra.\u00a0However, if you currently drink a lot of alcohol, do not stop drinking suddenly, as you may risk a seizure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Talk to your doctor about your drinking habits<\/strong>&nbsp;before you start using Voxra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Effects on urine tests<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voxra can affect certain urine tests used to detect other drugs.&nbsp;If you need a urine test, tell your doctor or hospital that you are taking Voxra.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pregnancy and breastfeeding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not use Voxra if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby unless your doctor has recommended it.\u00a0Consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.\u00a0Some, but not all, studies have reported an increased risk of birth defects, especially heart defects, in children whose mothers took Voxra.\u00a0It is not known whether these are due to the use of Voxra<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ingredients in Voxra can pass into breast milk.&nbsp;You should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Voxra.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Driving ability and use of machinery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If Voxra makes you dizzy or light-headed, do not drive or operate any tools or machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are responsible for assessing whether you are fit to drive a motor vehicle or perform work that requires increased vigilance.\u00a0One of the factors that can affect your ability in these respects is the use of drugs due to their effects and\/or\u00a0side effects.\u00a0A description of these effects and\u00a0side effects\u00a0can be found in other sections.\u00a0Read all the information in this leaflet for guidance.\u00a0Discuss with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use Voxra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Always use this medicine as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.\u00a0What is listed below is usuthe al\u00a0dosage\u00a0while the doctor&#8217;s\u00a0prescription\u00a0is personal to you.\u00a0Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It may take some time before you feel improvement.&nbsp;<\/strong>It takes time, sometimes weeks or months, for the medicine to reach its full effect.&nbsp;When you start to feel better, your doctor may advise you to continue taking Voxra to prevent a recurrence of the depression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>How much to take<\/em><\/strong><br>The usual recommended&nbsp;dose&nbsp;is<strong>&nbsp;one<\/strong>&nbsp;150 mg tablet per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The doctor may increase your&nbsp;dose&nbsp;to 300 mg per day<\/strong>&nbsp;if your depression does not improve after several weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Take your&nbsp;dose&nbsp;of Voxra in the morning.&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Do not take Voxra more than once a day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tablet is covered with a shell that slowly releases the medicine inside your body.&nbsp;You may notice something in your stool that looks like a tablet.&nbsp;This is the empty shell that has passed through your body<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Swallow your tablets whole.\u00a0<\/strong>The tablets should not be chewed, crushed, or split &#8211; if you do, there is a risk of overdose as the medicine will leave your body too quickly.\u00a0It can lead to doctor or hospital for an assessment of the risk and advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you take too many tablets, the risk of convulsions is increased.\u00a0<strong>Do not wait<\/strong>, but contact a doctor medicine, contact your doctor or pharmacist.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Possible side effects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like all medicines, this medicine can cause\u00a0side effects, although not everybody gets them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serious&nbsp;side effects&nbsp;are<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Seizures<\/em><\/strong><br>About 1 in 1,000 who are treated with Voxra are at risk of having a seizure.&nbsp;The risk of this is higher if you take too much, if you use certain medicines or if you are more prone to seizures than normal.&nbsp;Discuss with your doctor if this worries you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>If you have a seizure<\/strong>, tell your doctor when you have recovered.\u00a0<strong>Do not take any more tablets.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Allergic reactions<\/em><\/strong><br>Some people may have allergic reactions to Voxra.&nbsp;Symptoms include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>skin redness or rashes such as\u00a0hives, blisters, or itchy swellings.\u00a0Some types of skin rash may require hospital care, especially if you also have mouth or eye irritation.<\/li><li>abnormal breathing with wheezing or wheezing or difficulty breathing<\/li><li>swelling of the eyelids, lips, or tongue<\/li><li>muscle or joint pain<\/li><li>collapse, or flares<\/strong>,\u00a0skin rashes,<strong> or\u00a0lesions\u00a0(especially on areas exposed to sunlight) while taking Voxra, contact your doctor immediately, as it may be necessary to stop treatment.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Acute&nbsp;generalized exanthematous&nbsp;pustulosis&nbsp;(AGEP)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frequency not known &#8211; cannot be estimated from available data in people taking Voxra.&nbsp;Symptoms of AGEP include a rash with blisters\/blisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>If you get a rash with filled pimples\/blisters, you should immediately contact a doctor as it may be necessary to stop the treatment.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Other\u00a0side effects\u00a0are<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Very common<\/strong>&nbsp;which may affect more than 1 in 10 people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>sleep difficulties.&nbsp;Be sure to take Voxra in the morning.<\/li><li>headache<\/li><li>dry mouth<\/li><li>nausea, vomiting<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Common&nbsp;side effects&nbsp;that<\/strong>&nbsp;may affect up to 1 in 10 people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>fever, dizziness,\u00a0itching, sweating, and skin rash (which is sometimes due to an\u00a0allergic reaction\u00a0)<\/li><li>shakiness,\u00a0tremors, weakness, fatigue, chest pain<\/li><li>anxiety or worry<\/li><li>abdominal pain or other stomach problems (constipation), taste changes, loss of appetite (\u00a0anorexia\u00a0)<\/li><li>blood pressure increase, sometimes severe,\u00a0flushing<\/li><li>tinnitus, and visual disturbance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Uncommon&nbsp;side loss.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rare&nbsp;side effects&nbsp;that<\/strong>&nbsp;may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>palpitation\u00a0, fainting<\/li><li>twitching, muscle stiffness, uncontrolled muscle movements, problems with walking or coordination<\/li><li>restlessness, irritability, hostility, aggressiveness, strange dreams, numbness or tingling, memory loss<\/li><li>yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes which may be due to elevated liver enzyme values,\u00a0hepatitis<\/li><li>severe allergic reactions;\u00a0skin rash together with joint and muscle pain<\/li><li>blood sugar disorders<\/li><li>urinating more often or less often than frequency<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other&nbsp;side effects&nbsp;have occurred in a few people but their exact frequency is not known:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>thoughts of harming yourself or committing suicide while using Voxra or shortly after finishing treatment (see section 2. \u201cWhat you need to know before using Voxra\u201d).\u00a0If you have such thoughts,\u00a0<strong>contact your doctor or go to a hospital immediately.<\/strong><\/li><li>loss of contact with reality and inability to think clearly or make clear judgments
