you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>to take one 30 mg Vocabria tablet and one 25 mg rilpivirine tablet once daily for\u00a0<strong>one month<\/strong>.<\/li><li>to then come to get an\u00a0injection\u00a0every or every other month.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This first month with Vocabria and rilpivirine tablets is called the oral\u00a0<strong>lead-in period<\/strong>.\u00a0It allows the doctor to assess whether it is appropriate to proceed to treatment with\u00a0injections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to take the tablets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vocabria tablets should be swallowed with a little water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vocabria can be taken with or without food.&nbsp;When Vocabria is taken at the same time as rilpivirine, both tablets should be taken with a meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you can&#8217;t get your Vocabria&nbsp;injection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you cannot have your Vocabria\u00a0injection, your doctor may also recommend that you take Vocabria tablets or another HIV treatment instead until you can have another\u00a0injection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Antacids<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antacids, which are used for\u00a0<strong>indigestion<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>heartburn<\/strong>, can make Vocabria tablets not absorbed by the body and therefore have less effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do not take
