Actavis is and what is it used for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Valsartan Actavis belongs to a drug class called\u00a0angiotensin\u00a0II receptor blockers and is used to lower high\u00a0blood pressure.\u00a0Angiotensin\u00a0II is a substance found in the body that constricts the blood vessels, which increases\u00a0blood pressure\u00a0et.\u00a0Valsartan Actavis works by\u00a0inhibiting\u00a0the effect of\u00a0angiotensin\u00a0II.\u00a0This leads to\u00a0vessels\u00a0dilating and\u00a0blood pressure\u00a0falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Valsartan Actavis 40 mg film-coated tablets&nbsp;<strong>can be used in three different conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>for the treatment of high\u00a0blood pressure\u00a0in children and adolescents from 6 to 18 years of age<\/strong>.\u00a0High\u00a0blood pressure\u00a0increases the load on the heart and blood vessels.\u00a0If left untreated, it can damage the blood vessels in the affected if Valsartan Actavis is taken together with certain other medicines.\u00a0It may be necessary to change the\u00a0dose, take other precautions or, in some cases, stop treatment with one of the meals.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pregnancy and breastfeeding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>If you think you are pregnant or become pregnant during treatment, contact your doctor.<\/strong><br>Your doctor will usually suggest that you stop taking Valsartan Actavis before pregnancy or as soon as you know you are pregnant and instead recommend another medicine for drive, use tools or machines, or perform activities that require concentration, make sure you know how Valsartan Actavis affects you.\u00a0Like many other medicines for the treatment of high\u00a0blood pressure, Valsartan Actavis can cause dizziness and affect the ability to concentrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You are responsible for assessing whether you are fit to drive a motor vehicle or perform work that requires increased attention.\u00a0One of the factors that can affect your ability in these respects is the use of drugs due to their effects and\/or\u00a0side effects.\u00a0A are unsure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valsartan Actavis contains lactose, sodium and soya oil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Valsartan Actavis contains&nbsp;lactose&nbsp;.&nbsp;If you have an intolerance to some sugars, you should consult your doctor before taking this medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Valsartan Actavis contains&nbsp;sodium&nbsp;.&nbsp;This medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg)&nbsp;of sodium&nbsp;per film-coated tablet, i.e. it is almost &#8216;sodium-free&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Valsartan Actavis contains soya oil.&nbsp;If you are allergic to peanuts or soya, you should not use this medicine.<br><br><a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use Valsartan Actavis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Always use this medicine according to the doctor&#8217;s or
