of&nbsp;protein&nbsp;and thus prevents them from multiplying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surlid is used to treat:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>pneumonia\u00a0and chlamydial infections in the vagina.<\/li><li>inflammation\u00a0of the ears, tonsils, and throat as well as skin and soft tissue infections in people who are hypersensitive (allergic) to\u00a0penicillin\u00a0or Surlid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used, or might be using other medicines.\u00a0Surlid can affect or be affected by medicines containing the following active substances:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ergot alkaloids (anti-\u00a0migraine\u00a0agents ).\u00a0This combination must be avoided.<\/li><li>digoxin\u00a0and certain
