use Sumatriptan SUN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>if you are allergic to sumatriptan or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).<\/li><li>if you have problems with your heart or if you have previously had a heart attack<\/li><li>if you have problems with blood circulation in the arms and legs<\/li><li>if you have had a\u00a0stroke\u00a0or a mmol&nbsp;sodium&nbsp;(23 mg) per&nbsp;dose&nbsp;(ie 0.5 ml), i.e. it is almost &#8216;sodium-free&#8217;.<br><a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to use Sumatriptan SUN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Always use this medicine as directed by your doctor.&nbsp;Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sumatriptan SUN is usually injected into the thigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carefully read the section \u201cHow to use the pre-filled pen\u201d at the end of this leaflet.&nbsp;With the pre-filled pen, a&nbsp;dose of&nbsp;Sumatriptan SUN is injected quickly and painlessly just under the skin.&nbsp;Injection&nbsp;one must&nbsp;<strong>NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;be given in any way other than as shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DO&nbsp;<strong>NOT<\/strong>&nbsp;inject Sumatriptan SUN into a blood vessel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do&nbsp;<strong>NOT use<\/strong>&nbsp;Sumatriptan SUN to try to prevent an attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For migraines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use a pre-filled pen at the first sign of a migraine attack ( however,\u00a0dose\u00a0one is equally effective regardless of when it is used during an attack).\u00a0If the\u00a0migraine goes\u00a0away after the first\u00a0dose\u00a0but then comes back, you can use another pre-filled pen provided that at least one hour has passed since the first\u00a0injection.\u00a0Do NOT use more than TWO\u00a0injections\u00a0within 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the\u00a0migraine\u00a0is not relieved by the\u00a0injection, you can then take your usual painkillers provided they do not contain\u00a0ergotamine\u00a0or its\u00a0derivatives.\u00a0Wait at least six hours after using Sumatriptan SUN before taking any medicines
