enough\u00a0insulin\u00a0or that the\u00a0insulin\u00a0your body produces doesn&#8217;t work as well as it should.\u00a0Your body can also produce too much sugar.\u00a0When this happens, sugar detected by tests.\u00a0The risk of developing diabetic ketoacidosis may increase with prolonged fasting, high alcohol consumption, dehydration, sudden reduction in insulin dose, or increased need combination with\u00a0insulin\u00a0or medicines that increase the\u00a0release\u00a0of\u00a0insulin\u00a0from the pancreas, the blood sugar level may drop too much (hypoglycemia), which may cause tablet every day.&nbsp;The doctor decides whether the&nbsp;dose&nbsp;should be increased to 15 mg.<\/li><li>The doctor will prescribe the right&nbsp;dose&nbsp;for you.&nbsp;Do not change doctor or the nearest hospital immediately if you experience any of the following serious side effects:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Diabetic ketoacidosis (rare, may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are signs of diabetic ketoacidosis (see also section \u201cWarnings and precautions\u201d):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>increased levels of &#8220;ketone bodies&#8221; in the urine or blood<\/li><li>rapid weight loss<\/li><li>nausea or vomiting<\/li><li>stomach pain<\/li><li>severe thirst<\/li><li>rapid and deep breathing<\/li><li>confusion<\/li><li>unusual sleepiness or tiredness<\/li><li>a sweet breath, a sweet or metallic taste in the mouth, or a different smell to urine or sweat.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This can occur regardless of blood sugar levels.&nbsp;The doctor may decide to stop treatment with Steglatro temporarily or permanently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Necrotizing&nbsp;fasciitis of the perineum or Fournier&#8217;s gangrene (frequency not known, cannot be estimated from available data)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A serious soft tissue infection of the genitals or the area between the genitals and the rectum (see section \u201cWarnings and precautions\u201d for symptoms).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you notice any of the class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>burning when urinating<\/li><li>cloudy urine<\/li><li>pain in the pelvis or middle of the back (if the kidneys are affected).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You should talk to your doctor immediately if you develop a fever or see blood in your urine, although this is less common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dehydration (loss of too much water from the body; common, may affect up to 1 in 10 people)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Symptoms of dehydration are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>dry mouth<\/li><li>dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling weak, especially when you
