such as\u00a0ergotamine\u00a0or dihydroergotamine, or a &#8216;statin&#8217; such as\u00a0simvastatin, atorvastatin or lovastatin.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not take Posaconazole Teva if any of the above apply to you.&nbsp;If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Posaconazole Teva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the section \u201cOther medicines and Posaconazole Teva\u201d below for more information including information on other medicines that may affect Posaconazole Teva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warnings and cautions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking Posaconazole Teva if you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>have had an\u00a0allergic reaction\u00a0to any other antifungal medicines such as\u00a0ketoconazole,\u00a0fluconazole, itraconazole, and voriconazole.<\/li><li>have or have ever had liver problems.\u00a0You may need to take blood samples while taking this medicine.<\/li><li>develops severe diarrhea or vomiting, as these conditions may limit the effect of this medicine.<\/li><li>has an abnormal heart rhythm, on examination (\u00a0ECG\u00a0), which indicates a problem called long\u00a0QTc interval.<\/li><li>have a weakness in the heart muscle or\u00a0heart failure.<\/li><li>have very slow heartbeats.<\/li><li>have some form of heart rhythm disorder.<\/li><li>have any kind of problem with the blood levels of\u00a0potassium,\u00a0magnesium,\u00a0or\u00a0calcium.<\/li><li>take vincristine, vinblastine, or other &#8216;vinca alkaloids&#8217; such as\u00a0ergotamine\u00a0or dihydroergotamine which are used to treat\u00a0migraines.\u00a0Posaconazole Teva can increase the amount of these medicines in the blood which can lead to a sharp decrease in blood flow to your fingers or toes and cause injuries.<\/li><li>a &#8220;statin&#8221;
