Lyrica belongs to a group of drugs that are used i.a.\u00a0to treat\u00a0epilepsy,\u00a0neuropathic pain,\u00a0and\u00a0generalized anxiety disorder\u00a0in adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peripheral\u00a0and central neuropathic pain:<\/strong>\u00a0Lyrica is used to treat long-term pain caused by a nerve injury.\u00a0Several diseases can cause\u00a0peripheral\u00a0neuropathic pain, such as\u00a0diabetes\u00a0or\u00a0shingles.\u00a0The feeling of pain can be described as hot, burning, throbbing, radiating, stabbing, cutting, cramping, aching, stinging, numbness, and ant crawling.\u00a0Peripheral\u00a0and central\u00a0neuropathic pain\u00a0can also be associated with mood swings, sleep disorders, fatigue (fatigue), and can have an impact on physical and social functioning as well as the overall quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Some patients who have been treated with Lyrica have reported symptoms that indicate allergic reactions. These symptoms include swelling of the face, lips, tongue and throat as well as diffuse rash. If you experience any of these reactions, contact your doctor immediately.<\/li>
    • Lyrica has been associated with dizziness and drowsiness, which could increase the incidence of falls in elderly patients. You should therefore be careful until you are used to the effects that the medicine may have.<\/li>

      Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Lyrica contains lactose monohydrate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
